Calling All Junk Collectors!

Hiya all! I have decided to make my big blue dollhouse (see pics in This Post) into an abandoned/haunted-ish house.... you know... the one all the neighborhood kids dare each other to go in... I think that there may be an old hag that lives there that might dabble in a little magic...

I have already started making some things for the house and painting the house, but I am in need of some old junk.

If any of you happen upon anything that you think could work in the house... or anything that I can make into anything... Let me know.

Okay, God showed up in a big way tonight. We've been struggling for a LONG time, and we've gotten depressed, angry, upset, and confused. Well tonight, we were relieved of some major stress. So thank you to all of those who prayed.
Just when we had given up, God showed up.
I just need to pray.

Father God,

Thank you for this wonderful day. Lord, I'm sorry for forgetting who You are. Help us to remember Your divine Wisdom. Lord, You know what is going on in all our lives, and You're in control. Help us to stay faithful to You, as You have to us.

The Storms of Life

Okay, I know I haven't posted in forever, but I just need to talk for a bit.

I ask that you take everything I have to say with a grain of salt, because I may (on accident) offend you, and if so, I'm sorry. None of these comments are directed at ANY of you. There again, I just need to talk.

Here goes:

I am SO tired of hearing about babies. My husband and I really want a baby but we can't have one right now. That pisses me off. I am tired of hearing about everyone's little bundles of joy and how great they are, when I can't have one. I know that may seem selfish and childish, but I don't care, this is just how I feel.
I'm jealous. Yes, you heard me, jealous. PAINFULLY jealous of people that get to have what they want.
I am tired of being ignored. I have feelings, a heart, AND a brain. I'm not some random nobody that you can just walk by and pretend you don't see me.
I want friends. I don't care how desperate that sounds. I'm strong enough to admit that I need people. I'm so tired of feeling alone.
Some of you may say, "Well, you're never alone with God" and that's absolutely true. But I believe that God put people here for other people. I want people! People that I can talk to, share with, cry with, watch movies with, whatever.
I will admit to wanting to be loved. I don't feel very loved by anyone other than my family and my hubby.
I am tired of letting my husband down. He says that I'm not, but I know that I am. I try to fix it and I come up short.
Right now, I am feeling very lost.

Great Deals!

Ok, so I went to an estate sale and found these room boxes... LOVE THEM!


Barn Room Box.... upon further deliberating... I may sell this, as I have no room, nor any desire to fill this. Let me know if any of you are interested.

Another room box... I have started decorating this one... put down the wood/tile floor, and the wallpaper and border.

Ok, this is what I got today... I got all of this for $15.00 from craigslist... including the dollhouse you see below... this lady was getting rid of it because quote: "my kids were tearing it up". Someone had built and furnished the dollhouse for her kids, but the kids were little... so some of the pieces were damaged, but I'll fix them.
This is the inside of the dollhouse. We ripped out the felt that was used as carpet (except on the stairs) and I will be re-papering at least a couple of the rooms.

This is the outside... few pieces broke off (shutters, and finials) but they are still here, I just need to glue them back on.

Now, I've tried looking for this dollhouse online... the one it most closely resembles is the Allison Jr. by Real Good Toys.... HOWEVER... these shudders are different, the scalloping is different, and the tower is on the wrong side.... Any ideas? I would really like to know which dollhouse this is.

Picture Pages, Picture Pages!

Ok, so I FINALLY took some pictures of my creations/projects. I also took some pics of swaps that I've received/done. Sorry if the lighting is bad or blurry...
First, here are two pics of things that I do not want, and have no use for. If anyone wants them, lemme know and I'll send them to you. Be advised, I'm not sure if the little lamp works.

Set of 6 books, (plus one duplicate) Each are about 2 inches tall. Anyone want them?

Ok, first, just a couple pics of some of my fav. minis.
This is my piggy bank that my hubby bought me for my birthday last year. I wonder what he'll get me this year... Only 3 days till I find out!
This is a stone cottage that I believe is 1:24 scale, but I'm not sure. It needs some work.
Here is some stuff from a swap that I received (plus the lamp)
This was our "baby room" swap. I made the horsey pull toy.
And here was our Valentine swap. The 2 things I made were the bear, and jar of hearts.
Here was the Green swap (my fav. color) I made the bowl of apples (in the wood bowl) and the bowl of mint chip ice cream.
Here was the Pink swap and the "What I need swap" (I wanted either picnic or holiday stuff).
I took a break from taking mini pics to take pictures of my babies :)

OMG.... My FAVORITE mini so far. This is a Wizard of Oz snowglobe mini. You can't see it very well, but Dorothy and her friends are on the inside, the Witch and a flying monkey are on the outsides.

Ok, here's on of my roomboxes I totally redid this after finding it in shambles at an Estate sale. I added a few things too :)

This is a little house that has a push button light and a music box that plays greensleeves. I made the couch, pillows, rug, seat covers and the centerpiece.

Here is a roadside stand I put together and filled. Please excuse the glue drippings and the obvious work that needs doing on this. It was my first try.





Well, that concludes the picture show for now... I have TONS more minis to show, but that would take way too long for now.
